no connection: 2 wireless cards?
Using as toshiba satellite notebook with an internal wireless card(intel), using windows to manage it; added a linksys wireless card to connect to my epson projector, and to the internet at the same time. I get two wireless icons in the sys tray; can connect to the to the projector, but can't seem to establish firm connection to the access point for my wired network. Any solutions? many thanks!

What do you mean by firm connection?
Do you mean it connects then disconnects?
Why add a second wireless card? Don't you use a wireless router?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

2 wireless cards
Sorry for play on words--meant not establishing an ip address connection with the access point attached to the wired network. But solved the issue, I used my internal wireless card(Windows) to attach to the wireless projector, then my installed Linksys card to attach to the access point and the internet. Two days now and no problems!! Many thanks!
