the mobo says ddr 400 do you think my ram is not compatable?

That could be the problem, but usually you would get multiple beeps.
Most boards can cope with RAM that is slower.

i tried to just hook up video ram and kb...
notihing.
i couldnt even get power to the kb
"the num lock lite wouldnt even work...
i,m baffeld...

well i finally threw in the towel...
the heck with that 755-a2 mobo ...lol
my anaheim2 mobo looks and fits real good in the x navagator...
can i flash the bios and put my 1.4 p3 cpu in it 370 socket?
where do i start?...and please dont say bestbuy.

Depends. These boards where originally in Gateways, E-machines and the like. Where is yours from?

emachine... i got his and hers back in 99....wow talk about old school...
i used that everesthome utility... my bios is flashable....
i have 1 ?...the jumper cmos ram...
is that the rom chip 4 the bios?
