We need more information. If you do not know what chipset your USB controller is we'll need either the Motherboard model number or if it's a brand name computer the brand (Compaq, Dell, Gateway to name a few) and the model number of that computer. We will also need your version of windows so we can direct you to the right download.

As well as the info Niclo asked for, can you tell us did you do this uninstall in device manager, add/remove programs or did you just delete some files in the Windows folder?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
