A little more information is required before anyone could even possibly hazard a guess.
What hardware?
What windows?
What power backup supply?

What does system and application logs tell her in the event viewer.
Any errors? Is the APC (Power chute) software preemptively shutting down the server?

Actually I believe Power chute is only available with APC's Smart-UPS products, so you could rule that out as a possible problem.
But Event Viewer will be a good place to start.

Maybe there is something set to shut down after it occurs like a backup or something if you don't find something in the event viewer. I know my APC has powershute and if something is on the screen when it shuts down it is there when I restart so you could put something up on the screen and then when she has to restart in the morning it would come back if it was the ups. I'm not an expert with servers but just thought I would throw that out there.
