That screen is usually an indication that the computer was not shutdown properly, such as losing power to your computer.
I'm not sure what you mean "it worked" or what the original problem was.
Was it rebooting back to that screen no matter what option you choose or did you stop there and waited 3 days?
Usually you would want to <Start Windows Normally> and if that does not work use <Last Known Good Configuration>.
If your computer is rebooting each time and coming back to this screen than it's possible that during a power loss some system files got corrupted.
But again, I'm not sure what "it worked" means.

Waiting any length of time suggests something cooled down.
Is it possible its getting hot?
Harddrive or hardware errors dont normally fix themselves.
