SATA Connectors
Are SATA I, and SATA II Connectors the same?

Since the Sata II drives can be used backwardly with Sata I systems, they must be.

I have noticed on the SATA 2 connectors they have a metal retention tab that fits both. The retention tab works great, at least in all the machines I have used them with.
