Outlook 2003 doesn't keep changes
Hi all :O)
I had this client which I guided him to set his outlook 2003 to keep messages on server for 10 days.
The thing is that after a restart his computer doesn't keep this setting, And it returns to the setting that doesn't keep messages on server.
Any ideas why ?
Thanks

Is this how you set it up? :
Tools>E-Mail Accounts>View or change existing e-mail accounts>click on a/c then click change>more settings>advanced>and in the delivery area tick the box that asks if you want to leave a message on a server.
If so, should be ok unless ownership/permissions is wrong for the account somehow.
I think.

Thanks CCT. It was set as you've mentioned. The user logs on as administrator. The only thing that pops to my mind is checking some file attributes like pst file maybe....

Thank you CCT for the explanation link. It's a simple pop3, And it might be the pst, Registry or just a clumsy user who forgot to apply the changes....I will bother myself to visit the client and check it by myself...
