Network path not found in cmd
anyone encountered this error whereby i can browse a shared folder in windows but cannot access the shared folder using command prompt.
I get the error "network path not found"
However i can ping the remote server hosting the share folder
Thks for any info

What is the command line you are using in cmd kababoom?

i'm using \\servername\shared name in cmd as the drive has already been mapped in windows

If the drive is mapped, simply issue the drive letter followed by a :
Example - type in the mapped drive letter
K:
hit the enter key
If you really need to use a UNC path from command line then use pushd and popd as described here
