SPYWARE and slow pc
My brother just visited for the week and he hooked up his internet to my modem and ever since he did, my computer has been filling with viruses and my desktop background is some spyware crap which refuses to change.
I ran HIJACKTHIS and here's the results:

Does anyone see anything that needs to be fixed/removed or have any other suggestions to what the problem might relate too?
Thanks.

Well, all of the references to homepage.html indicate an infection, probably by a smitfrad variant. The StFlex entry is generally associated with the Adclicker trojan (sometimes Hyper Rotator)as are any entries for QDR, and of course, all the Wehancer entries are malware. The winlogon entry is also malware related, and you have missing files entries that are tracks of malware that has been removed.
So, I'd start with Sypbot Search and Destroy 1.5. Install it, update it, then disable System Restore, reboot to Safe Mode and scan. I think this should clear up most if not all of your problems, but you might need to run some additional tool like SmitfraudFix or Combofix. But I'd start with Spybot. Once you feel like the machine is clean, don't forget to trun System Restore on again.
