Exclamation Unauthorized Mail Access Issue Outlook 2010/Exchange 2010

Our office uses exchange 2010 and I have a strange issue. I built a new computer for a new hire that replaced one that left. The user gets phantom access to the previous employees e-mail and mailbox. The only coincidence is that the new hire is at the old hire's desk.

New computers, not even the same ones used by the previous employee.
Names are not even close to similar.
User names are not even close to similar.
No mail forwarding or permissions to access the previous employees account are on the new hires profile.
Absolutely nothing was transferred or copied from the previous employees machines to the new hire PC.
The accounts were disabled/activated on different dates.

Does anyone have any idea of what would cause this or what I can read up on related to this as it's a severe security risk in general with other accounts.

This does sound weird. Is there a possiblity that some how the new PC is accessing a arbitration mailbox from the previous employee?
It's not the computers that keep having problems, it's the users!!

OK more details, the new user is receiving mail intended for the Term'ed user but this is how.

Terminated employee's mail is being forwarded to a distribution group, the new hire is part of the distribution group. However the new hire has a warning that comes up stating that the mailbox is almost full for the Term'ed user. I assume if he clicks on it he can see the Term'ed users details but that shouldn't be allowed should it?

I would think not unless his priveliges are set to allow. You might want to check this.

Just checked, and nothing is listed that should relate to the user or the distribution list.
