Connecting to shared printer on simpleshare drive/print server
Okay, I have a Simpletech Simpleshare drive such as the one you can find at http://www.simpleshare.com/. I've created my printer pool and connected my HP PSC1210v printer. I know All-In-Ones can be cooky but, read on.
I've connected to the printer, through the print server, on an Acer Laptop using Windows XP Pro. The printer works fine and I've never had a problem.
I've connected to the printer, through the print server, on a Dell Laptop using Windows Vista Home Premium. The printer works fine.
I've connected to the printer, through the print server, on a Desktop using Windows Vista Business and the printer does not work. I've connected to it in the same manner as my other two printers, it shows in my printer list, it's active and it shows as ready. However, when I try to print, nothing happens except the printer head moves to the side as if it were about to start printing but does nothing else. I'm using the same exact driver package I used for my Windows Vista Home Premium system to no avail.
By the way, all of these computers are on the same network/workgroup and have been talking to one another for years.
Thanks for any help you can give.

I can only suspect there are extra permissions of some kind which are required on the buisness version or that the actuall printer install didnt install correctly for possibly the same reasons
