    Unhappy HELP I need to fix my Maxtor 3200 500gb Hard Disk

    Well my hard disk was fried but i opened it up and fixed the motherboard of the hard disk that was burnt but instead the hard disk fails it does go on but it fails to load the drivers am on Windows Vista basic someone help find way to fix this there are important stuff the machine that I need.

    Welcome to WinDrivers, bmpdavip.

    By this, do you mean the drive is your Windows boot drive, and Windows cannot start from it because of missing drivers?

    If so, I'd suggest that because of the damage the drive has suffered, rather than trying to get it to load Windows, it would be best to get it connected to another system and try to copy across the files you need while the drive is still going.
