The Jing Project
Sort of like Snagit-online from the people who brought you Snagit.
An aid to documentation and explanation.
Capture screenshots and video clips of desktop/application activity and share them online.
Free.

If a mod wants to move it, I have no problems.

I like your logic houseisland, it is a tip, not a question!
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Submit your latest tech tips/shortcuts to help other techs around the world.
Has absolutly nothing to do with the Tech Tips description. I still think it's in the wrong area...

OK teabags, it is a tip for techs to use an online service. It is not a request on how to use it. When you get to be a mod, you can use your logic, till then, I will use mine.

Maybe re-read the forum description, read it slowly....
Submit your latest tech tips/shortcuts to help other techs around the world.
For example when i read that, i feel this is what the description is stating.
What A Tip Should Be
A tip should be something (about a paragraph long, or atleast long enough to explain it) that could help another user in any certain field, be it Networking, Programming, Security, Hardware, Software, etc. An example would be the following:
When working with Window's File system's and on your home network, you should turn off netBIOS (network basic input/output system) as it leaves a risk onto your computer. Hacker's can use this method to gain access to the files on your computer.
What A Tip Shouldn't Be
A tip shouldn't be merely a post with a link as any user can google information. It also shouldn't be something of the malicious nature or of any nature that doesn't have anything to do with Information Security. For instance:
Yeah check out my k00l warez collection of hax0r tools at http://haxorsRus.com
And as for this.

Since you want to argue...
The tip is not malicious
There is a description albeit cursory about what it is and does. Of course if you don't know what snagit is then you would be a bit stuck - but snagit is one of those things that most people have come across in their tech lifetimes.
One couldn't simply google this info - a simple search like capture screenshots brings up loads of options, but not Jing.
As for your last comment, you are very close to contravening the acceptable use policy of this site.
