Video Card selection
I've been looking around here and there for a low profile video card capable of doing 3d cad work. The best I was able to find was a Radeon x1300 256mb, but this isn't cutting it. Just wondering if anyone else has seen or used something better. Price is almost no object here; a $900 is viable so long as it'll work.

hmmm wouldn't it be cheaper just to get a bigger case? There aren't any 3d low profiles... just 2d ones... eg FireMV is low profile, FireGL and FirePro is not. I'm guessing they need to pack more stuff on a GL/Pro board than they do on an MV

yeah been looking all afternoon and that seems to be the case. It just sucks cause we just bought 3 skids of these computers... would hate to have to buy another different one, it's just another image I'd have to take care of lol... but yeah that may unfortunately be the route I'll have to take.

not really, just mod the case or buy a full height case.

unfortunately it's extremely difficult with this case. I'll recommend a new box. Thanks Noo.
