usb trouble

hi I have just reinstalled windows xp, on a packard bell imedia p811,
for some reason it has lost the usb controller,
i cannot find the drivers for this anywhere help please.

First of all, it is unwise to use your email address as your user name as web crawlers will add you to the spam lists. To change it, pm Richard1 and supply a new user name instead.

go here and put the serial number in - the model number you have is not the one that they use.

I suspect that either you have the usb controller turned off in bios, or it is listed as an unknown device in device manager - do you have any devices marked as ! or with ?
