Cannot do System Restore
I like to test things from time to time but upon testing System Restore recently I was told cannot restore to that date and I get the same whatever date I try.
I have no other issues on my computer and am using Norton Internet Security 2008 so surely it cannot be a DoS or Trojan? I have only been using the Norton for a few weeks having previously tried AVG Free and before that always Norton.
Is there any way I can restore System Restore without reinstalling Windows yet again?
I thought the first topic did not go, I am getting quite a lot of this happening with BB sites I post on or administer. Can Admin please delete the other identical topic and leave this one thanks.

You can go ahead and make your own restore points.
If you want, and see if it works then.
If i understand correctly your not having any issue just trying to see if you can get restore to work.

Morselady, if you have too many restore points, I have found it can't do any... how much space is system restore taking up? Did you disable norton before restoring? Do you get any error messages?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
