    Quciktime and Vista 64

I dowloaded quicktime to play .mov files but it is not compatible with vista 64.

Can you suggest and alternative that works well.

    Thanks

Windows media player by default does not support quicktime. If the Apple download will not work, a third party codec needs to be installed.

Please check the legality of third party codecs before installing as it is illegal in some coutries.

Personally, I use K-lite Codec pack in order to play Quicktime natively without the quicktime app installed.

You just need to download the x64 version of quicktime....
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Quicktime works fine in vista 64 if you download the correct version as NooNoo said.

You can also use quicktime alternative.
