    Reformatted Harddrive: Missing Drivers

I recently reformatted my hard drive, and now I am missing drivers:

    Ethernet Controller
    Multimedia Audio Controller
    Not Available
    SM Bus Controller
    Scan
    Video Controller
    Video Controller (VGA Compatible)

I have disk that come with the computer labeled drivers and devices. Do I have to install every single component on the disk? Or is there something else I need to do? Help would be greatly appreciated. I'm running a Dell Dimension 4700 with Windows XP Home Edition.

Also, when I click on an audio driver I have the option to extract the file. When I extract it and try to install it usually gives me an error message like "the device could not be found"

Also my modem and router are working just fine with my laptop, just not the computer, so I'm sure it's a driver problem.

I would try to get the drivers from the dell site I posted as some are likely to be newer.
Simplest advise on what drivers to install would be.
Start with the main ones like Chipset Video Audio and such and keep going till there are no problems in device manager
    Your drivers are located here

One Script to rule them all.
    One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
    and clean up after itself.
