Welcome to Windrivers Pwnxor
here is your sound driver click the link scroll down the page till you come to Realtek ALC Series AC97 Driver and down load it to a folder you can find. Then double click the file and follow the wizard to install it.

LMAO my bad.. i totally did not mean to offend, and another problem i am having now is that i am not able to hear any sound on youtube and any other site for that matter and applications such as messenger and skype are still without sound but i can play my music in itunes perfectly >_>.. this is also a bit off topic but i am also having a problem with my video controller (VGA compatible) , i get the same error that i got with the sound driver [The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)] could you help with this also? and do you think that this is the reason i am not able to hear sound on messenger and such?

No offense taken, for some reason people feel duty bound to point out that I am female... it doesn't worry me.. in fact I prefer if people appreciate the fix rather than the gender
As for your vga problem, go back to the link, the vga drivers are there but install the System Drivers first! Reboot then do the vga drivers.
On the sound thing, usually if one thing works, it all works.. just a matter of settings. You might want to reinstall directX

i keep getting this error message when i try to install the vga drivers ... "the system cannot detect the device, please confirm that the device is configured properly and then restart the setup program"
wow this is annoying >_>... and still no sound on youtube and such after re-installing directx 10.. >_<
and now i see an SM BUS controller with the question mark in device manager T_T.. i need a new computer .. lol

yes i did, there are two system drivers on the site and i downloaded both but the one that says "SiSŪ 650/650GL/651/661FX/740/761GX/67x System Drivers" tells me that it is either damaged or in an unknown format when i try to extract it.. the other file "SiS System Drivers (650/651)" installs and runs perfectly..
i have finally got the sound working on youtube and such ..woot!! i had to set the default sound option.. but still no luck with the vga... >_>

The system drivers should have installed the smbus device. Try opening that and updating the driver and allow windows to install it automatically. Did you redownload the corrupt one and try again?

The '650/651' is the OLD 2006 chipset. The other is the NEWER one. Don't bother with the 2006 version.
