True Image 11 works fine with many SATA controllers, but not all. Since the boot disk runs under Linux, it's a question as to whether or not there were open source drivers available for a given controller when that build of True Image was released. Needless to say, True Image 2009 has better driver support. If you have a registered copy of a current Acronis product, you can always download the most current build from their support site.
