Very, VERY Strange (Aquiring IP Address)
I have been trying to set up a wireless connection to my wireless router (Netgear WGR614 v6).
With my old router (Linksys - standard model) i was easily able to connect. However here i have yet to establish a wireless connection. When i connect without a WPA i can connect to the network with excellent connectivity but cannot open any webpages or connect to the router. When i enable a WPA or WEP i simply cannot aquire a network address. I have tried setting up a static IP and can connect, though again a have no internet or connection to the routers IP Address.
When my i use ethernet i can connect easily.
When i configure my wireless card it says my driver is up to date and the card is working properly. Like i said, i have connected to several routers, but never this one. Please PLEASE help!
Thank you!
