    Actually it was a real hoot! Joe (my work buddy) got really razzed and a big deal made of his 50th birthday last year (black balloons, black streamers, black frosted cake, etc)and everyone promised me that when I hit 50 it would be an even bigger deal.

    Unfortunately, no one kept track so I went in to work, had a nice lunch bought by the gang, got a card, and went home unmolested. It wasn't until about a half hour before quitting time that someone yelled out, "What do you mean this is his 50th! How did we lose track!!"
