Is your Internet Explorer 8 opening slowly? Fix found.

I have noticed IE8 opens very slowly on some computers. Once open it runs ok, except if you try and right click and open another window.
If you have ever installed Spybot you almost certainly have the problem.
Here's the fix:

1. Open regedit
2. Go to this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap
3. Delete the following sub-folders: Domains, EscDomains, Ranges
4. Go to this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\P3P
5. Delete the sub-folder History
6. Repeat steps 2-5, but in HKLM.


It's been tested on over 10 computers and has never failed to immensely speed up IE8.

Yeah. Some other antispyware software does the same thing. It really sloooowwwss down IE8.
