MsiExec.exe Uninstall of SAV
I need to uninstall all SAV 10.x using a GPO. I am 99% there but still hung up. GPO first runs .reg that removes the SAV uninstall password (works fine) then runs .cmd file
Code:
msiexec.exe /x{xxx-xxx-xxx}
When it hits this part, a window asking "are you sure..." with Yes and No buttons. I plan on running this as a startup script. I have added the /q but that doesn't work. Any ideas? Thank you

have you tried using the norton removal tool?
One Script to rule them all.
One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
and clean up after itself.

Thanks for the replay, but I don't believe that works with Symantec Corporate edition software. I had to leave and a currently gone for the week while in a class the so the solution was to have the help desk remove manually.

As far as I know, with any version of Symantec Antivirus, if the managed uninstall fails (pretty frequent occurrence) you are stuck with a manual removal that requires a bunch of Registry edits, and then some folder deletions. Tedious and annoying, but Symantec provides good instructions for all versions.
