Shoutcast.com has *many* stations available (about 30,000). Do you think you can find one that you like?

Thanks for the welcome,I'm from the US.
Lool thanks for the suggestion about shoutcast, 30,000 stations would do.Actually I was looking for a less ambiguous answer, and more specific interesting stations.I'm at a loss for what to listen to these days.

Type in a track you like and it plays similar ones.

I just listen to a local station (FM) over the internet - they play music and 99% of the commercials don't air online, they usually play 1 or 2 good songs you don't hear on the radio.

I use Pandora.com you get to customize your radio station so to say. What you do is input your favorite band or favorite bands that are of a similar style and it will play songs by them and by people who produced songs that are similar in style. I've found many new groups I never knew existed by this site. You can also create several channels/stations so if you're in the mood for a different type of music you just change to that one.

Great.I also found a couple of days ago some pretty nice channels at sky.fm, though I listen mostly to the smooth jazz channel.

Also worth a mention is GotRadio.com. Decent assortment of free channels, and the content is "on demand", so if you don't like the current selection, you can just click to the next song. I'm a fairly heavy user of the Blues channel.

It doesn't matter if they work, the idea of internet radio is that you listen, not record
