My xp isn't genuine all of a sudden?
Today when I turned on my pc I get a message in the taskbar saying my copy of XP is not genuine and failed the validation.
I have had my PC for years, I bought it from Mesh computers and the case has a genuine XP product key sticker and I have never had a problem, the XP is genuine.
But as I say it is saying it is not genuine all of a sudden. What do I do?
Cheers

You call Microsoft and explain the issue and ask them to correct it. Nicely.
Such things happen ALL the time.

Try again later - there's probably a problem with authentication at the moment.
My Windows 7 RC was just flagged as not genuine...

I hate it when they screw up the genuine validation thing, it frightens so many people.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
