Hello: I am not sure what 'page refreshes like it should and there isnt anything on there' means.
Please explain.

when you type in a message and hit the confirm button it pulls away from the page....like if you refresh a web page... when it appears again my message should be on the comment board..but it isnt.. since dell told me it was a browser problem i have done more research on ie 8 and decided to us firefox instead.. but it still does the same thing.. since then i created a new member name on espn to see if i was blocked but no luck.. so im thinking its a bug with vista..idk

Is this an ESPN General board or on someone's comments page where "Comments are moderated, and will not appear until the author has approved them"?

Can you do things like change user profile or whatever?
Posting may require some security feature enabled/disabled on your end - maybe your firewall is interfering or possibly a hosts file? Some sites require cookies (session anyway) be allowed.
If using Vista with IE8, you could try the reset to defaults for IE8.

Have you tried rolling back to IE7 or even 6 and clearing ALL temp files and cookies files? (I don't deal with Firefox so I have NO suggestions there).
Have you verified that the firewall isn't blocking the posting site or possibly a hosts file or security or privacy setting?

If you are running a Firewall (outside of Windows built-in), there are settings for those that can be restrictive.

'what do u mean??'
The dialogue above leads me to believe that ESPN has blocked your posts for some reason (purposeful or technical BUT related to your id/id's) - if another comp where you log on doesn't let you post, it sure looks like the problem is directly an ESPN/hokie5 issue.
