BT Braodband Desktop Help will not open
in either IE8 or Firefox to allow me download the critical update for Vista. Starts to load with PLEASE WAIT and a blue circle in the middle of the screen with a small yellow error triangle in the bottom left hand corner of the page.
Can anyone help me???

Have you called tech support for BT? To make sure your online?
Have you rebooted?
Is there a router involved?
You have checked all the cables to be sure not have become disconnected?

I am definitely online and have no problems accessing any other sites etc.... I have disconnected and reconnected everything.
When I start the laptop up a little blue prompt box loads asking if i wish to doenload the critical update for Windows Vista, I click on update and it opens an IE8 browser window, this starts finding the page with PLEASE WAIT and a blue moving circle in teh middle of the screen. The status in teh far left coner of the screen then clicks over to DONE but with a yellow error triangle next to it and the screen sticks on PLEASE WAIT! I cant get any further than that.
I have tried copying the address into Firefox and Safari but it wont load at all.

Windows update does not work in FF or Safari to start.
Have you made sure your date/time is correct?
Have you scanned with antivirus? What antivirus?
Have you scanned with antimalware? Which one?

From the looks of it they're using their sig to link products they're selling.
One Script to rule them all.
One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
and clean up after itself.
