Microphone not working.. window XP
what the heck is happened to my microphone?? i had searched and tried plenty of ways to solve tis problem out but none of them work.. any1 can help me to check it out?? and i heard some1 said tat tis is because the microphone is not using for a long time(first time use after i bought tis laptop for 2years ><" ) den it spoiled.. is it true??
btw my laptop is HP compaq presario v3000.. window XP professional sp2..

Looks possibly like you need to update the software drivers for the audio.
Going to need the full model number.
IE: is it a 3000AU or a 3000TU or 3000CTO etc etc

Bad settings of the software or corrupted sound driver might be the reason. There might be one more reason to this that the driver you have installed is not compatible with the operating system or other hardware of the laptop. But before doing anything, I would suggest to recheck the configuration of the audio driver as this is the problem mostly faced with windows xp. http://help.its.maine.edu/help/compu...ncing-in-winxp
