That's right, Pilgrim, we don't cut anybody any slack here in the Land of the Red Man. Besides, Granny wanted to end it all, didn't she? One good spark near the O2 cylinder and it could have light's out forever.

Gotta love them El Reno boyz in blue.

Remember: You can be legally shot in Oklahoma, by law enforcement officers, if you are fleeing the scene of a felony and refuse to stop when commanded.
I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas I bet.

There was a similar incident near Austin Texas a few months ago. http://www.examiner.com/x-536-Civil-...eatgrandmother

There are a pair of nice videos on youtube:

Okay, I am obligated to acknowledge a kindness from an OKC policeman this morning. I got pulled over two blocks away from work, with an expired tag one week past the 1 month grace period. He took my driver's license and insurance card, then came back only to give me a warning and send me on my merry way!

Funny thing is, that I remembered the expired tag before leaving home, thought about calling in for a couple of hours to take care of it and opted against it!

So, boys and girls, the moral of the story is: always listen to the voices in your head!

Bad advice! If I listened to those little voices in my head, I'd be in jail for sure by now!

The link died. But the quote is disturbing as hell! Was the policeman afraid she would hit him with her cane?

This past Sunday, a Fairfax, VA. man was killed in a dispute over his efforts to have the county place a speed bump in front of his house. Full story from The Washington Post.

You'd be amazed at how much road rage speeders like to carry with them. If you want to see the pinnacle of arrogant rude and self entitled sociopaths come to Wexford PA. To be honest I like to push their buttons while I'm at it. Like pausing to check the scenery when they're in a hurry to fly 65 down a 25mph stretch. Or my personal favorite thing to tick them off: Actually stopping for a full 5 seconds at a stop sign. BTW yes they do flip their lid when you do that in that area.

    One Script to find them.
One Script to bring them all,
    and clean up after itself.

Segway Owner dies in scooter accident.

I can't believe I am the first to post this gem. Not only is it weird, but ironic in extreme and darkly funny.

I am sure this story leeds to others which can easily segway from this one.

    Full story
I know sometimes it looks likes us 'Mericans get to hog all the glory for unwarranted taser attacks, but it ain't so. Here's a pretty good one from the Land Down Under. No, not Mexico; Australia.

"SYDNEY -- Police say a graphic video of an unarmed man Tasered 13 times shows an unacceptable misuse of stun guns as questions are raised about how much the devices are used in Australia.

Western Australia state police said the 2008 case was not typical of Taser use by the force, and state Premier Colin Barnett demanded a review of Taser guidelines.

The video was released yesterday, the day after a man died in Sydney after police stunned him in the chest with a Taser."
Here's the story, and here's the poor quality video. Might not be suitable for work.

And what about the guy that died? Well, seems he was tased about 28 times in less than 2 minutes https://wsws.org/articles/2009/jul2009/tase-j03.shtml

Data from the gun recorded 28 separate shots, each lasting five seconds, in less than two minutes
    28*5sec=140sec=2min20sec...

Obviously, you're forgetting that Australia uses Metric time.
