    How do you access the install files on a HP Pavilion dv9000 laptop

    Contrary to the info on the link, F11 accesses the recovery on a DV9000

    I followed your link Ferrit and it told me to press F10 for the recovery screen, but that only gets me into the BIOS and there isn't any option for recovery install there.

    Did you try the F11 that Platypus suggested?

    Your first guess was correct Platypus. I just tried the F11 and it worked. Thanks for the help guys.
