Best data recovery software
Hello,
What is your favorite data recovery software? Freeware or not!!
I've used Runtime's GetDataBack for NTFS with a lot of success, but I've got one with quite a few unreadable sectors. When I get to one of those spots, it loads the computer up and if I don't respond fairly quickly, the whole system freezes and I get to start all over. Windows check disk locks up as well.
So, I'm going to set up SpinRite and go to bed... this could take a long time.
The one drawback to the software I'm using is that I have to select a whole partition for recovery. I would like to be able to just select a folder. IE: "My Documents".
I'm anxious to see what you all come up with.
Thanks,
What evil lurks in the hearts of computers? Only The Noo Noo knows!!!
