savetubevideo.com
has anyone experience of getting rid of this?
AVG, MalwareBytes, gooredfix and Spyzooka all report nothing untowards. Firefox add-ons are disabled but still FF randomly sends the page you're loading to landing.savetubevideo.com and there is nothing I can find on the internet as to why it is still doing this.
i am currently running the trend AV online at the mo. result, no threats found.

IF you installed that software (knowingly or not) it probably won't show as a 'bad guy'.
Does anything like that name show in either Add/Remove Programs or MSconfig or Taskmanager?

unfortunately i did install it, to download a video. it was the only software that actually did what it claimed. I then uninstalled it, apparently! There is no trace anywhere... I did a standard search, found a few items and deleted them.
I've just done a spybot scan, which has removed 10 items, spyzooka never found!
anyway time will tell if thats it or not..
