    Free PDF writer

    We use Print2PDF here at work but it's pretty close to useless now. I've been experimenting with CutePDF which is free and it does a better job.

    What I'm wondering.... what free PDF printers do you currently employ?

    My hands down favorite is Nitro PDF Reader. Works with Windows from XP to Win7, both 32 and 64 bit, and provides excellent PDF annotation features. No toolbars, no watermarks, no ads.

    I use CutePDF. Recently came across http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/ which also can "print" as image files. Haven't used it for PDF, but the image output is great (that was my main concern as I was looking for a bitmap printer when I came across it). Can also run in server mode for network installs...
