Laptop running slow
Looking to clean old files from machine running XP Pro Back in the day there was a ~*.*,tmp.,something, something to clean files up. Can anyone help ?

Hey 3M, one thing you can do is download CCleaner and run it. This will clean temp files, internet files, cookies, istory and prefetch files along with a host of others. I use this and on my clients PC's weekly.
It's not the computers that keep having problems, it's the users!!

Another recommendation for CCleaner.
Regardless of version, I consider this a "must have utility" on my home PCs and use it regularly when servicing client systems.
