    Right click leaves a shadow

I have three different WinXP boxes that have this odd problem.

Any time I start from cold, the first right click I make in a window or on desktop will leave a semi transparent image of which ever option from the right click menu that I chose. The image stays above all other open windows. I can make it go away if I change the display settings on my computer or switch the output to an external display, but it comes back on the next right click. There are different video cards in all three. Any ideas??
No matter where you go........there you are.

Try using a different monitor. Is it an older model?

Two different monitors, and one is a laptop.

    Found a work around

Changed the appearance effects on transition menu from fade effect to scroll effect, and no more shadow left behind.
