If you added new hardware it's either bad, seated improperly, or needs put in a different slot. There is an off chance it's a bad driver. If that's the case try loading in safe mode and removing the driver. There is also a chance that the RAM is going out and if that is the case you either need to test with good software for that (I generally use a Kubuntu boot cd, but there are other programs out there), or you need to try taking out one piece of ram at a time and starting the pc up without each stick to see if it works or not.
