    driver not intended for this platform

    hello,
    thank you for this forum. this is my first post.

    i just built a new pc useing all new parts,i know a bit about pc's, but im no guru and im hopeing for some help.

    the problem is my onboard video driver wont install.
    in device manager , it shows (code 28) the driver for this device is not installed. the driver is not intended for this platform.

    im useing an asus m5a78l-mlx mobo
    amd athlonII x3 455
    4gig 1333 ram
    i installed the driver from the disk that came with the mobo(or tried to)
    im hopeing the masters here have heard of this issue

    Is the windows system you installed windows 7?
    Also is it 32 or 64 bit?
    All these matter tremendously.
