    New Google policies

    Link.

...Our privacy principles remain unchanged. And we'll never sell your personal information or share it without your permission (other than rare circumstances like valid legal requests).

Valid legal requests? Do they mean police or other authorities, or do they mean some company that offers them a boatload of cash ( which is legal and valid, I suppose! )

Simple really, if you wouldn't want your neighbours in your street seeing it, don't put it on the web. Everything else is fair game.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

Which is therefore already in the public domain and not an issue for me. It could turn bad if someone wanted to attack me, but then there is little I can do about another's opinion of me anyway whether it's a newspaper, internet or just local gossip.
