importing a pdf into h and r block 2010
I am uisng taxcut at home and would like to amend a 2010 tax return. I used h and r block online for 2010. I purchased ased a 2010 h and r block 2010 premium. I downloaded my tax return for 2010 from the website and it comes only in pdf form is there any way I can convert this to be imported into taxcut 2010?

Not sure what format the converted file needs to be, but you could try THIS which will allow you to convert to Word. If it needs to be an Excel file you could copy and paste over to that.
It's not the computers that keep having problems, it's the users!!

The real issue here is what format does taxcut want the file to be in.
It would appear that the file needed for Taxcut is "T01"

I believe the proper path would be to use the online 2010 edition to create an amended return based upon the existing info stored there.
Your best bet is to call their support and ask how you should proceed.

I believe CeeBee may have a point. I wouldn't want some sort of conversion SNAFU making the IRS knock on my door because the numbers didn't add up correctly or something else. Best to talk to the vendor for advice.
