Question I can'y play a game because of a problem with my sound card driver

    game: CAESAR 3
    creative labs SB16
    PCI STB Nitro 4 Mb
    32
    DELL DIMENSION XPS M 233s

    Windows 95
    Sound
Installing Caesar 3 goes perfect. But when I want to play the game (while
starting up, when there's "loading sounds" in a box), this message appears:
    "Windows
    An exception 0E has occurred at 0028 : C12F4827 in V x D DSOUND (03) +
    00005547. This was called from 0028 : C10FDE73 in V x D DSOUND (01) +
00000CF3. It may be possible to continue normally.
    * Press any key to attemt to continue
    * Press Ctrl + Alt + Del to restart your computer. You will lose any unsaved
    information in all applications.
    Press any key to continue"
And then, it is impossible to play the game! If I press a key, my computer
doesn't react, he "searches"; so I end that task and every time I try, it
doesn't work! I think it has something to do with the sound, but what? What does this error message mean? How
can I play the game? Do I have to change some settings of my computer?
Thanks a lot if you can solve my problem!

    Cool

    1) Check Sierra's website ( www.sierra.com ). I think I remeber a reply from tech support to a question near that.
    2) Make sure you have the latest drivers for your soundcard <-- very important
    3) Check and see if you are running at least DirectX 6.1

I ran C3 at a nearly identical configuration (not a Dell, but same SB card) with no problems. Good luck!!
