    Resolved [RESOLVED] No sound

    After a year my sound was acting erratic ;; I replaced sound card = worked for one day.Lost it again.Win 98 shows me having sound;no conflicts ;sysedit is all in order ;; BIOS in order ;; speakers [tried several] are working ;reinstalled Win 98 to no avail.
    I tried ISA sound cards * PCI ; all installed correctly but no sound.I do not have onboard sound so enable or diable onbard sound in BIOS = not it.
    Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
