Is it Deskpro or Presario ?
Go to www.compaq.com on there support site , and download drivers&software downloads , there you can find bios for your machine.
Show as a serial number , that can help to.

Nod. You'll need to find the proper 'softpaq' for your machine. Doubt you'll be able to get rid of the Compaq logo though.

Compaq does not allow you to get rid of the logo.
