    Question aswRunDll.exe has encountered a problem

    XP Home SP3

    After the last windows updates were installed I got a box with this error on startup.

    aswRunnDll.exe has encountered a problem.

    Any ideas if it is important or if MS will fix it on a future update, or if it is unique to my system.

    Ya uninstall avast and install Microsoft security essentials.
    And no Microsoft isnt going to fix it
