    slow load on internet explorer

I am running windows 7. I have Internet Explorer 11. Explorer takes five minutes to load. Chrome loads right up. I have tried resetting settings. How do I fix my problem?

Start by disabling all add-ons (toolbars, accelerators, plugins).

There are known issues with web sites loading slowly in IE 11 as it is not yet recognized widely and there are compatability issues. I would go to installed updates and uninstall as this will then revert back to IE 10. Then download CCleaner, install and run the "Cleaner" nothing else. This will remove all the Temp files, Cookies, & Temporary Internet files.
It's not the computers that keep having problems, it's the users!!

I am not a big fan of IE but it certainly works well for me.
I have yet to see any webpages that load any
    slower then the rest.
    This person has other issues.
    What antivirus?
    What malware scanning software?

Actually IE 11 works quite well. Some websites may not render well, but that's highly unlikely for any major website, as in the worst case they can just set the server to send X-UA-Compatible headers for the problem pages.

The problem I have run into with my clients is: "Your browser is not supported, please update your browser to a newer version." Hve found this to happen on some standard sites, Bank sites and some Medical sites. I am a big fan of IE and I see the problem as the sites are not all up to date for the newer version of IE.

95% of issues are resolved by enabling the use of the MS compatibility list. Another 3% by enabling compatibility mode manually.
IE11 has changed the UA string and it confuses some old systems.

Those were the first things I did. As you knowwhe the browser is first installed, it asks you those questons for compatability.

    1) Same problem in Safe mode with networking?

    2) Same problem in another browser such as IE or Chrome?

    3) What's your connection speed? http://www.speedtest.net/

First of all, you disable unnecessary add-ons, clean up everything like corrupted cache, history and cookies, and reset Internet Explorer by reset internet explorer setting. If your problem is rising again, you can take help online computer experts like Geek Squad, Click4Support, etc., ***** etc.
