Windows logon password recovery
Have a laptop Windows 7 HP, with a logon password enabled by someone in the family, but no family member admits putting it on, nor after trying all the usuals, can we logon. What is the best tool to use, apart from a format? And for anyone suggesting it is stolen or the like, NO, it is mine. Any advice appreciated.

There is no way to verify that you are the actual owner of the laptop so you will
have to take it to a computer repair place for them to remove it.
We can not help with that here.
