    Acer Aspire 5742-6977 not recognizing DT 101 16gb thumb drive

    I have a different kind of problem with my DT 101 16gb thumb drive. My Acer Aspire laptop model 5742-6977 does not recognize it although it recognizes my other thumb drive of the same make.

    Have you tried your thumb drive in a different machine? It could be the drive has gone south.
    It's not the computers that keep having problems, it's the users!!
