windows tech preview
I just can't warm to this operating system, they sould have a touch version and a pc version, I have installed the tech preview over the top, it's much better, but beware you will need a full backup if you want to return to old op system

You cant warm up to 8.1?
Have you installed classic shell?
I think it may yet be another work stealer for me.
7 cost me about 35 to 40% of my repair business,
because its so dam resilient. I expect the same from 8.1
Had lots of infected win 7 machines yet I don't think i ever remember
reloading one because of it or any other problem.

I think he means Windows 10 Tech Preview. I installed it on a laptop with 8.1. Installed no problems. Haven't played with it enough to form an opinion yet.

So far it looks like Windows 10 is what the upgrade from 7 should have been.
