    window2s 8.1 and flashplayer

    How could I check if flashplayer 17.0.0 is updated all the way?

    It says I M RUNNING VERSION 17.0.0.0. I try to do the update and it says "This update is not applicable to your computer". I hav etried all the updates and am getting the same message. Specifically I am tryhing to run a program called united parcel service university for work and this is where I am having the problems.

    I am getting another error message this is when I try to install flashplayer for windows 8.1 64 bit Windowsupdate standalone installer "update for windows kb304412 is alreacdy installed, and I still do not have the most updated version of flash player.

    Paul, just uninstall the Flashplayer, reboot and then install the latest as suggested.

    As for the UPS program, while that specific name for it isn't Googleable, there is UPS CampusShip -> http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/bus...wse/Cship.html

    I would uninstall what you have for that as well and after the Flashplayer installs successfully, try what you have again (or get the one I noted and try it).

    I did the steps described now the adobe website says I am running 17.0.0.169, but the ups website still says I am using 17.0.0 and does not work correctly.

    Something that occurred to me - have you cleaned your internet cache ? Your last log in at that site might be cached and they'd maybe think you have the old flash.
