    bad connection

What can be the problem if my router looks like it is working, but still there is no connection? And how can I fix it?

    Regards,
    Ivy

If this is a standard router type then pull the power plug from the back, leave it sit for 15 seconds, then plug the power plug back in and see it that fixes the issue.

You may have to reboot the computer, also.

Hi, According to my daughter if it has a poor connection, it could be that the router or modem has an issue or you could also check the cable ( there might be broken wires).

I would start by updating your computers wireless card's drivers. You may also find it beneficial to update the firmware of the Belkin router. Also... I have found that the software that you use to manage your wireless connection could affect your connection stability... If you are using the Belkin software and having problems, try switching to the Windows Wireless Zero Configuration (provided you are using XP and I think Vista as well.. Hope this helps.
